************************************************************ Read Me file: Lucky Guy by Andrus63 Copyright (2013) Andrus63 ************************************************************ How to Install. To install, open the zip file. Drop the ?runtime? folder into your Poser or Daz Studio directory, and the files should install in their proper places. You can find the contents of this product under: Libraries/pose/Andrus63/LuckyGuy and Libraries/face/Andrus63/LuckyGuy The poses have not been tested on a Mac - they should work fine, but if you find a problem please let us know! They have been tested in Poser 7 and Poser 9, in Poser Pro 2012; and in Daz Studio 4. ************************************************************ How to use. These poses are designed to work with the DAZ 3D figures Michael 4 and Victoria 4; they do work with other figures, but will require adjustment. We strongly advise that you turn inverse kinematics and limits off, as otherwise poses will not all work. Load V4s and M4 so that ?body? translation and rotation parameters are identical, so that the figures overlap each other. Apply poses to the correct figures - they will move into position relative to each other. Use ?body? (not ?Hip?) to move figures around the scene. Keep the parameters identical for the different figures, and the groups will stay together. You could try parenting the figures to each other?s bodies to move as a unit, but we find V4 sometimes does odd things when parented to another figure, so it?s safer to parent M4 to a V4 if you want to try this. Poses are for the default M4 and V4. The large amount of contact between the figures means that several of the poses will need adjustment for morphed figures. There is no real way to avoid this. Similarly, they may need adjustment if the figures are clothed, and some may need adjusting for hair. Poser figures are not like real people. Because their bodies do not compress under pressure they cannot always easily be put in positions that we know human bodies will do. (Don?t ask?) In some of these poses there is a slight overlap between body parts; real bodies would squash, but poser figures don?t! We?ve tried to keep this to a minimum, but in some cases it is unavoidable, and can look better if the alternative is leaving a gap. Again, as with the hair, you may want to use a magnet or (for users of Poser 7 and above) the morphing tool to compress the softer body parts. ************************************************************ Expressions There are expressions to go with all the poses. In some cases you really need the correct expression for the pose, but for most the numbers are just suggestions. Changing between them can change the look considerably. Experiment and have fun. V4 expressions will work on M4, and vice versa, but the results may not look quite the same. The expressions do move the eyes, so the characters are looking where they should be looking! The expressions should not overwrite head morphs. The zeroes will only affect the basic expressions and the M++/V++ expression morphs, not any add-on packs you may have. ************************************************************ Genital poses The M4 genital poses are for the standard DAZ M4 genitals. Genital poses are included where the positioning is important. For other poses you can choose from any in the set. ************************************************************ Weightmapped V4 The V4 Weightmapped poses are intended for use in Poser 9 and Poser Pro 2012 only - they will not work in other programs. The weightmapped version (with helper bones) of V4 is available from Runtime DNA, here. http://www.runtimedna.com/WMV4.html There are slight differences between the look of the V4 Weightmapped and V4 Standard poses. Please note that most of the M4 poses are also slightly different between the two sets. The easiest way to fit clothes (if you need clothing!) to V4 Weightmapped with helper bones is to use the Poser Outfitter available free from Runtime DNA. http://www.runtimedna.com/Outfitter.html ************************************************************ We hope you have fun with these poses.
