Thank you for your purchasing the SFCS Texture Pack 2 from CGbytes product line. To unzip the files, please use a program such as winzip from winzip.com for the PC. For the MAC, the latest version of Stuffit from stuffit.com will work with both the MAC and PC. With your zip extraction utility, please extract the files (with the "use folder names" option checked) to your Poser program location, up to, but not including "runtime". The file will then be extracted to your hard drive under the standard "runtime" heirarchy. NOTE: YOU MUST ALREADY OWN THE SFCS EQUIPMENT PACK ALSO AVAILABLE FROM CGBYTES.COM. Extract the contents of this zip file to the location of the folder containing the poser.exe file. This is usually in a path like the following: c:/program files/metacreations/poser 4 This path may very on system to system. Be sure when extracting you have the "use folder names" button or similar checked. This package contains 4 texture schemes, Desert, Urban, Green, Police and the new "Grey" texture scheme. Grey will match the interior colors of the GVCS, FVCS and MCV construction sets available at www.cgbytes.com I've provided 2 sets of libraries for the texture schemes, the first library can be found in the character/figures library under the following categories SFCS-EQUIP DESERT SFCS-EQUIP URBAN SFCS-EQUIP GREEN SFCS-EQUIP GREY SFCS-EQUIP POLICE The above folders contain the original cr2 files with the new texture schemes already applied, this will elliminate the need to use material pose files to change textures if you are creating new equipment from scratch. The second set of folders is found in the pose library under the categories: SFCS-EQUIP-DESERT SFCS-EQUIP-URBAN SFCS-EQUIP-GREEN SFCS-EQUIP-GREY SFCS-EQUIP-POLICE The above folders contain material pose files. If you want to change the texture of a piece of equipment in your scene, click on the figure, then click on the associated thumbnail in the libary and apply the new texture by checking the "check" mark. If you have any questions, comments or problems, please feel free to ask them. You can contact me at [email removed] Have fun. Davo
