************************************************************ Read Me file: Dawn Raiders by Andrus63 Copyright (2013) Andrus63 ************************************************************ How to Install. To install, open the zip file. Drop the ?runtime? folder into your Poser or Daz Studio directory, and the files should install in their proper places. You can find the contents of this product under: Libraries/pose/Andrus63/DawnRaiders and Libraries/face/Andrus63/DawnRaiders The poses have not been tested on a Mac - they should work fine, but if you find a problem please let us know! They have been tested in Poser 9 and in Poser Pro 2014, and in Daz Studio 4.6. ************************************************************ How to use. These poses are designed to work with the DAZ 3D figure Michael 4 and the weight-mapped Hivewire figure Dawn; they may work with other figures, but will require adjustment. The Dawn poses will NOT work in anything less than Poser 9 as earlier versions do not support this type of weight-mapping. The poses were made using Dawn with the base morphs injected plus the Starter Morphs. We strongly advise that you turn inverse kinematics and limits off, as otherwise poses will not all work. Load Dawn and M4(s) so that ?body? translation parameters are identical, so that the figures overlap each other, and with ?body? rotation parameters at zero. Apply poses to the correct figures - they will move into position relative to each other. Because Dawn's centre of rotation is slightly different to M4, it is better to parent the figures together if you want to rotate them. Simply moving them (translation) should not be a problem. Use ?body? (not ?Hip?) to move figures around the scene. Keep the parameters identical for the different figures, and the groups will stay together. Poses are for the default M4 and Dawn. The large amount of contact between the figures means that several of the poses will need adjustment for morphed figures. There is no real way to avoid this. Similarly, they may need adjustment if the figures are clothed, and some may need adjusting for hair. It may be useful to use a magnet in some cases to ?squash? hair under a hand. ************************************************************ Expressions There are expressions to go with all the poses. In some cases you really need the correct expression for the pose, but for most the numbers are just suggestions. In addition, for a number of the poses there are two different expressions for Dawn. Changing between them can change the look considerably. Experiment and have fun. Dawn expressions will NOT work on M4, and vice versa. The expressions do move the eyes, so the characters are looking where they should be looking! The expressions should not overwrite head morphs. The zeroes will only affect the basic Starter Morph expressions for Dawn and the M4++ expression morphs, not any add-on packs you may have. Dawn's jaw works slightly differently to earlier figures. ?fc2? files only alter expressions, not ?pose? settings. So with some expressions you need to use the appropriate pose file (.pz2) as well, to make the expression work. Where this is relevant there is a notation on the .png. ************************************************************ Genital poses The M4 genital poses are for the standard DAZ M4 genitals. Genital poses are included where the positioning is important. For other poses you can choose from any in the set. We hope you have fun with these poses.
