Created using base Genesis 8 assets and the DAZ Studio geoshell.

                            ABOUT THE SET
======================================================================

This simple kit is a set of easy-click offset saves that will adjust the offset distance of any geoshell.

It is intended to be used for adjusting offset distance of stacked shells to keep them from cancelling each other out.

Each shell you apply to your figure should have a different distance.

Stacking of too many shells will increase render times and can cause other issues, don't stack more shells than your hardware can handle.

Lines on the tool icons are a visual aid and not a literal representation of offset distance, offset is measured in cm by Daz Studio.

To apply, select ONE shell in the scene tab, then apply an offset distance. Do this for each shell on your figure.




SPECIAL NOTE: Moving figures far from SCENE CENTER (not center of scenery prop, literally Scene Center) is known to cause shells to shift and change shape. You can attempt to fix this issue by increasing offset distance, however moving the figure(s) back closer to scene center should fix this effect after saving in the new position and reloading scene. As a best practice, scenery should be grouped and moved around your figures for best results, this is also true for unshelled figures.

To group your scenery (minus figures), you should always create an empty group and then drag scenery items into the new group in the scene tab. Selecting scenery and then using the grouping tool can cause items to shift because Studio places the group center wherever it thinks the middle of the group of props is, rather than scene center.
