.......................................................................... GoGo Truss - Poses for GF8 / Gf8.1 Copyright (C) by Pushee-Ri, 2024 .......................................................................... MANUAL +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ General information All poses have been developed for GF8 Base. The usual adjustments may have to be made for other models. Even when using the GF8 Base model, you will notice small gaps between the model and the truss. This is intentional and planned to avoid overlaps when the model is wearing more or loose clothing. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Getting started First load the truss (Xtras -> Truss). Then load your favourite model. Then load the desired pose. If a "Preset Exceeds Limits" dialog box appears, please select "Turn Limits Off". You can combine the model and the truss into a group for better positioning and rotation (see below). +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Bare feet vs. high heels All poses are designed for bare feet. This means you can decide for yourself what kind of shoes - if any - your model should wear. Depending on how the producer of high heels has gone about creating them, it is sometimes very easy to use high heels. Then you only have to use the "Posing" pane -> "Pose Controls" of the feet to increase the value of the "Heeled Shoe" option (usually to 100%) ... and maybe some "Side-Side" improvements. Unfortunately, there are also manufacturers who do not adhere to the DAZ rules (and whose High Heels are being sold on DAZ ...., well ...). When high heels like these are assigned, the model's feet are unnecessarily manipulated (bending, twisting, side-side, etc). This leads to a strange look, which you then unfortunately have to correct by resetting the parameters (there are various instructions on this in the DAZ forum). Important: the incorrect presentation in this case is not due to the poses, but to the producers of the high heels. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Moving model and truss You can create a "Group" from your model and the truss. Select the model and the truss in the "Scene" pane and use "Main menu -> Create -> New Group ..." to create a group. If you wish, you can give your group a suitable name. Now you can position and rotate your model and the truss as a unit by rotating and moving the group. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Adjusting the truss If your model is wearing high heels, has not been developed in proportion to the GF8 base figure or is simply wearing more clothing, there may be overlaps with the truss. In this case, you can use the truss morphs (Parameters -> Morphs) to adjust the height of the device as well as the distances between the individual horizontal pipes. If you want to create scenes from a frog's-eye view and the camera sinks into the ground (as usual), you can use the morphs to raise the podium of the truss.
