Though some\ elements of this package can be stand alone, the majority is meant to be used with the\ GVCS CORE package. Some of the pre-assembled modules use the GVCS CORE package.\ \ To add more versatility to this GVCS CONSTRUCTION Pack, take at look at these\ following companion products available at www.cgbytes.com:\ \ GVCS CORE PACK: Ground Vehicle Construction set to create custom sci-fi vehicles.\ GVCS ARTILLERY PACK: Artillery and gun add-ons for the GVCS core pack.\ GVCS TEXTURE PACK: Alternate texture schemes with material pose file and\ original cr2 library files with textures already applied\ \ FVCS Flight Vehicle Construction Set: Texturing and design matches perfectly\ with the GVCS package. The FVCS will add more weaponry, engines and body types.\ \ MCV Mobile Command Vehicle: This is designed and textured to match, it has\ additional weaponry and accessories that can be interchanged.\ \ SFCS Equipment pack: For interior renders of your vehicles, you'll want seats\ and steering equipment as well and display screens and more.\ \ Note: There are no interior seating/steering/consoles. If you wish to do interior renders, please consider\ the SFCS EQUIPMENT package available at www.cgbytes.com. The Equipment package is designed to be used as\ consoles and steering componants for all of my construction sets.\ \ \ Features:\ \ Bulldozer Armature, large dozer scoop with posable armature and piston\ \ Backhoe Armature, fully posable, includes pistons\ \ Crane Armature, fully posable with adjustable length\ \ Tram vehicle, small 3 wheeled power engine\ \ Trolley cart, pulls behind the Tram Vehicle\ \ Bucket add-on for placing a person inside, fits on crane armature\ \ Hook and spool add-on, fits on crane armature\ \ Claw add-on, has 4 posable grasper arms, fits on backhoe armature\ \ Shovel scoop add-on, fits on Backhoe armature\ \ Jackhammer spike add-on, fits on backhoe armature\ \ Forklift assembly, fits on tram vehicle\ \ Fence add-on, safety fence for the Forklift assembly\ \ Dump Truck assembly, includes posable cover and tailgate\ \ Tanker Assembley with 3 posable lids on top\ \ Ball and hitch assembly to connect trolleys together\ \ Several pre-assembled/parented modules to help you get started with your construction designs.\ \ Standard military green texture scheme for all componants/figures.\ \ Library Folders:\ \ GVCS CONST\ GVCS ASSEM\ \ The GVCS CONST library folder contains all the elements/figures of the construction package.\ The GVCS ASSEM figures library folder contains all the pre-assembled modules.\ \ The purpose of this package being a "Construction Set" is to allow the user to assemble the\ included figures to create a custom construction vehicle set. The user should have basic\ knowledge of parenting figures together and using the "memorize all" command under the edit\ menu to memorize the location of the figures after they have been parented together.\ \ A tip to help you design a constuction set is to first determine where the turning point or pivot\ point of your vehicles will be and to use the figure that is in that position as the main parent figure.\ Remember to parent parts together in a manner in which will allow you to move certain parts and their\ child parts to move with them.\ \ Another tip is to use the "edit/memorize all" command 2 times in a row to be sure that a part is\ memorized in it's correct location before saving the figure back to the library. Be sure to use this\ command after each item is parented to another part. Use the "edit/restore all" command to periodically\ check if a body part reverts to it's original position, should this occure, move the part back and use\ the "memorize all" command again.\ \ SPECIAL NOTE ON SCALING!!\ Any figure in this package can be scaled with the xyz scale dials. However, if you want to scale up\ a figure that has multiple parts, such as walls and doors/hatches, articulated parts, then you can\ scale up the whole figure with the "body" dial properties. It is recommended that you only use the\ "BODY" dial: 'scale' when scaling up and down a multiple part figure. Do not use the body dial 'xzy scale'\ dials or else you will get figure distortion when you rotate a part.\ \ Use the "BODY" dial 'scale' on the base parent part of a multiple part figure to enlarge all the parented\ partes of your assembly all at the same time.\ \ Descriptions:\ \ Backhoe: This armature is fully posable, once you rotate the arms where you want them, rotate the\ piston cylinders and extend the pistons length to match up with the piston connections other end.\ There is no other method to make the pistons move with the figure, you will have to pose them manually.\ The front arm's piston base can be moved independantly while the back arms piston bases are fixed.\ You can parent the spike, claw and shovel scoop to the front end of the front arm.\ \ Crane: The crane armature has a posable base. The arms of the crane can be extended/slid to longer\ lengths. You can parent the bucket and hood/spool figure to the last arm.\ \ Dozer: This is a posable bulldozer style armature with a large scoop in the front. The sides of the scoop\ can be turned off. Parent the Dozer assembly to the front of the Tram or to a larger vehicle you construct\ with the GVCS Core Pack. Scale the dozer assembly up and down using the BODY dials.\ \ Bucket, Claw, Hook, Shovel and Spike: These add-ons go onto the front of the backhoe and crane armatures.\ Parent them to the backhoe or crane. The Claw has 4 posable arms and base, the Shovel has sides that can\ be turned off, the Hook assembly has a housing (top) and the hook (below) which can be moved with the\ figure dials. The spike has a posable jackhammer spike. The shovel and spike have an armature included\ that can be rotated to meet the pistons on the backhoe.\ \ Tram: This is a small power engine used for pulling loads. It is ideal for attaching the forklift and dozer\ assemblies to it. The roof is posable and can be hidden, then front hood can be moved and rotated to desired\ location. You can attach the ball and hitch to the rear of the tram and pull the trolly behind it.\ \ Trolley: This is a train style cart to put equipment on. You can attach several trolleys together with the\ ball and hitch (there is a pre-assembled trolley in the assem folder).\ \ Dump Truck assembly: This is designed to look like a dump truck box, it has posable covering (which can be\ hidden) and a posable tail gate.\ \ Tanker assembly : This is like a water or fuel tanker, it has 3 posable hatches on the top. The walls can\ be hidden for interior renders.\ \ Forklift Assembly: This is a fully posable forklift device, it has a removable safety fence on the rails.\ Place the forklift on to the front of the tram or a larger vehicle.\ \ Fence: this a safetly feature, place it where you feel it's needed.\ \ There are pre-assembled modules that help get you started in this folder: GVCS ASSEMS\ \ \ GVCS ASSEMS:\ \ The GVCS ASSEMS folder will also contain the GVCS Core package pre-assemblies. (if you own the gvcs core pack)\ The Construction pack assemblies in this library will be preceeded with the word "Const".\ \ This is a good folder to save your creations back into, or you can create your own folder. When saving a figure,\ be sure to first check to see that all parts are memorized (see tips above), then click on the main figure that all\ other parts are parented to, the save that main figure to the library, be sure to make sure the "whole group" botton\ when saving, otherwise you will only get the main part saved to the library, not all the other parented parts.\ \ Thanks again for your purchase, please feel free to contact davo at:\ \ [email removed]\ \ }
