====================================================================== SOME INFO ====================================================================== I Dream Fishnet One Piece - ©Causam 2018 Thank you for purchasing the I Dream Fishnet One Piece. http://www.renderotica.com/content-artists/Causam/1386 This garment is a result of my experimentation with improved mesh techniques to achieve a more realistic and better behaved TruMesh effect. While many otherwise high quality garments for DAZ characters use material cutouts to emulate a fishnet effect, this garment (along with the I Dream TruMesh Bikini) is a true fishnet mesh. In other words, things will actually poke through the holes in the fishnet - nipples, labia, fingers, etc. The IDFOP responds extremely well to the transferred rigging that results from Autofit. For instance, my model in these promotional images is Cheri Angelou, a very petite DAZ Genesis 8-based female character I . She's almost a full head shorter than a standard Genesis 8 female, and is obviously much slimmer in the waist and body in general. Yet, the fishnet mesh fits her snugly and without undue distortion. This is a result of using the Autofit rigging and scaling factors in various portions of the garment to achieve a more natural form fitting shape. ====================================================================== CONTENTS ====================================================================== ... ====================================================================== PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS AND COMPATIBILITY ====================================================================== Programs Required: DAZ Studio 4.10 (should work with earlier versions well, though I haven't tested this). Models Required: Genesis 8 female Any addons required to use: None. ====================================================================== INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS ====================================================================== 1. Unzip the archive into a temporary folder. 2. If you want the product to appear under "My Library" in DS, copy (merge) the "data", "People", and "Runtime" folders into "C:\Users\\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library". If you want the product to appear under "My DAZ 3D Library", copy (merge) "data", "People", and "Runtime" folders into "C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library" 3. In DS, in the Content Library tab, right-click "DAZ Studio Formats" and choose "Refresh". ====================================================================== MORPHS ====================================================================== Morphs included with this garment are: Cleavage Adjust (this moves the cleavage area closer or further away from the sternum, effectively giving a realistic stretch between the breasts). Cleavage Middle Height (this raises or lowers the top edge of the cleavage area, eliminating the annoying and unrealistic "humps" which normally appear from left to right with large breasted models) Crotch Left Crotch Right Crotch Narrow-Wide Crotch Snug ====================================================================== TIPS ====================================================================== The material presets included with IDFOP are all slightly tweaked Iray shaders included with DAZ Studio. I have included no materials per se, as the complexities involved with seaming a fishnet mesh are daunting. However, the garment does have UVs, and so will accept any fabric image the user wishes to try out. Experiment, you'll definitely get some interesting results! On loading, for best results, set the subdivisions to 2. For the time being, leave the smooting iterations at 2 and the collision iterations at 3, which are the defaults. Once you have the pose you are looking for and are finished manipulating your model, go ahead and set your smoothing iterations up a bit - try different settings, but anything above 10 is unlikely to be beneficial. I have found that 5-7 are the max necessary. Also, remember to bump your collision iterations up to 4 if you raise the smoothing iterations. When using this product, it is important to take advantage of the rigging for models which are petite and/or large breasted. While morphs have been included, these are meant only as correctives in the breast area and for standard crotch arrangements typically used for adult renders. For other fine tuning as to fit and effect, the user is encouraged to make use of the bones in the product rig (which are provided as part of the Autofit step in the process of creating the product). FOR EXAMPLE: Let's say that your model's nipples do not align perfectly with any of the holes in the breast area of the mesh. To correct this and get a perfect poke-through, select IDFOP in the Scene Tab, and drill down to the Pectorals. Select the pectoral you want to adjust, and simply tune the sliders to move the garment's breast side-to-side, up-down, etc. This will guarantee a good alignment. ANOTHER EXAMPLE: Sticking with the breasts for now (but realizing that this technique will work for any part of the product), let's imagine further that you are not entirely satisfied with the fit of the breast material over one of your model's breasts. To remedy this, again, select the pectoral in question in the Scene Tab under "IDFOP" and enable "Show Hidden Properties". Use the various Scale sliders (X,Y or Z in the necessary combination) to achieve a perfect fit. Note, this technique works for ANY part of the product rig, e.g. pelvis, abdomen, etc. As an additional note, be aware that since all Genesis clothing products have had Autofit applied during product creation, this technique will work for those products, too. Many of you already realize this, but some of the less experienced users may not. Thanks again, and I hope you'll make some great images with this product. Causam
