Read Me file: Raiders 2 by Andrus 63 How to Install. To install, open the zip file. Drop the “runtime” folder into your Poser or Daz Studio directory, and the files should install in their proper places. You can find the contents of this product under: Libraries/pose/RaidersM4V4 and Libraries/face/RaidersExpressions The numbering of the poses follows on from the original Raiders set, starting with pose 12, so if you have both sets they can go into the same folder. The expressions also go into the original Raiders expressions folder; the “zero” expressions are identical to the originals. The rest have new names. The poses have not been tested on a Mac - they should work fine, but if you find a problem please let us know! They have been tested in Poser 7 and Poser 8; and in Daz Studio 3. How to use. These poses are designed to work with the DAZ 3D figures Michael 4 and Victoria 4; they do work with other figures, but will require adjustment. We strongly advise that you turn inverse kinematics and limits off, as otherwise poses will not all work. Load V4 and M4(s) so that “body” translation and rotation parameters are identical, so that the figures overlap each other. Apply poses to the correct figures - they will move into position relative to each other. Use “body” (not “Hip”) to move figures around the scene. Keep the parameters identical for the different figures, and the groups will stay together. You could try parenting the figures to each other’s bodies to move as a unit, but we find V4 sometimes does odd things when parented to another figure, so it’s safer to parent the M4s to V4 if you want to try this. Poses are for the default M4 and V4. The large amount of contact between the figures means that several of the poses will need adjustment for morphed figures. There is no real way to avoid this. Similarly, they may need adjustment if the figures are clothed, and some may need adjusting for hair. It may be useful to use a magnet in some cases to “squash” hair under a hand. Poser figures are not like real people. Because their bodies do not compress under pressure thay cannot always easily be put in positions that we know human bodies will do (don’t ask…). In some of these poses there is a slight overlap between body parts; real bodies would squash, but poser figures don’t! We’ve tried to keep this to a minimum, but in some cases it is unavoidable, and can look better if the alternative is leaving a gap. Again, as with the hair, you may want to use a magnet or (for Poser 7 and 8 users) the morphing tool to compress the softer body parts. Neither the poses nor the expressions move the eyes. We generally find it is better to do this manually according to the rest of the scene, so the characters are looking in the right places. Remember there is a single dial under head morphforms in the morph++ “morphforms” to move both eyes. V4 expressions will work on M4 (and vice versa) but they will not look quite the same. We find that the head character morphs can substantially affect the look of expressions, so be prepared to tweak them. The expressions should not overwrite head morphs. The zeroes will only affect the basic expressions and the M++/V++ expression morphs, not any add-on packs you may have. The M4 genital poses are for the standard DAZ M4 genitals. Comments on specific poses. Some of the poses work well just with one M4, rather than both. These include 16, 17, 19, 20, and 22. In Pose 13 M4’s left arm has to be tight round V4 for the pose to make sense. Because of the limitations of Poser figures (see above) there is a slight overlap between M4’s arm and V4’s body, but this should not show in most renders. In pose 22 V4’s hands are meant not to be touching M4. This also leaves room to pump up M4’s muscles! Disclaimer These poses are intended for portraying fantasies. They are not intended to encourage or condone real violence against women (or men!). We hope you have fun with these poses.
