An amazing observation and computer conrol room for your stories and art. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL NOTE 1: Posing for V4/M4/G8 figures is based on the STANDARD, NON-MORPHED OR ALTERED figures. If you have applied morphs or altered body shapes or proportions, you must manually adjust the character and device positions if connection points are not touching. If you do have to alter the poses, you can do this to one side of the device and one side of your character then use the symmetry command to mirror the result to the other side. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- System Requirements for Poser: - PC and Mac compatible - Requires Poser 11+ (backward compatible to Poser 8 except readme notes python scripting may not work on older versions) - All files in .obj, .cr2, .png and .jpg format. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To install, open the zip file and extract the contents (make sure "use folders" option is checked to the location of your poser.exe file. For example: c:/program files/poser software/poser 11 or c:/program files/Smith Micro/Poser * You may also install to a different location of your choice if you wish to use an external runtime location. Do not include "runtime" in the extraction path, it is already specified in the zip file. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---Modified library content note, please read---: I have begun to simplify some of the locations of props in my newer sets. I have copied the props folder content and placed it in the figures library for easier access rather than having to switch between libraries. The plus is it's easier to find things, the minus side is if you want add to add or modify props, you have to save them back to the props folder. The props and figures files will be extracted to the Following Libraries /Davo/Chamber 5/ : Contains Observation Room, Room 1, Camera and Chair figures plus subfolders: /Obs Room Combos :Contains Observation Room with attached computer equipment and props /Room 1 Combos: Contains Room 1 and Observation Room combos /Room Props: Contains equipment and room props (this is a copy of the props library placed in the figures library) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pose libraries: /Davo/Chamber 5/ : Contains observation room default poses and window options plus subfolder: /Chair Poses: Contains chair and matching pose for M4 and V4. /Screen Options: Contains default and alert screen material options. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Props Libraries: (there is a copy of these props in the figure library for ease of access) /Davo/Chamber 5/ : Contains equipment and room props (there is a copy of this props library placed in the figures library) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Package Features: ------------------------------------- Chamber 5 Folder ------------------------------------- - Camera: This is an articulated security/viewing camera. You can place this in the Observation Room or any other room. Most parts have size/shaping morphs for customization. - Chair: This is a simple office chair with some morphing parts. Pose files for chair and character are provided in the pose library. - Observation Room: This is an observation room with viewing window that can look into another room for observation or control. The window wall has 2 roll up doors/shields that move up and down. The window wall also has a height morph to make the window taller and morphs on the rollup doors/shield to compensate for the window height morph. The side walls and door wall have length morphs and can be tilted to allow for a better view into the room. Lamp on the ceiling is repositionable, door opens and closes. There are some computer banks and monitors in the scene. The middle table, middle bottom monitor and middle top monitor control movement of the other tables/monitors. The end/side table portions have a taper width to account for side wall tilting. Many of the material zones on this set have ambient/emmissive properties that will allow them to glow in a dimly lit scene. A pre-parented equipment/chair/observation room is available in the Obs Room Combos folder. Material Pose file is provided to change the default computer screens to an emergency alert screen. - Room 1: This is a stand alone room with a posable rollup door on each end. There is some ceiling lamps, a cable/hose prop and track that can be used sort of like a conveyor belt on the floor. Track size/shape morphs. You can hide the doors on the ends and place as many of these Room 1 figures end to end to create a long corridor if you wish. There is a pre-parented set of combos in the Room 1 Combos folder. ------------------------------------- Obs Room Combos subfolder ------------------------------------- - Obs Room Equip Combo: This is simply the observation room, 2 chairs and most of the equipment or room props already attached to the appropriate walls. --------------------------------- Room 1 Combos subfolder --------------------------------- - Obs Room Single: This is a pre-parented combo of the observation room, equipment and a single Room 1 figure attached. - Room 1 Triple: This is a pre-parented combo of the observation room, equipment and a three Room 1 figure end to end attached. --------------------------------- Room Props subfolder --------------------------------- Note: These are props from the props library that have been copied to the figures folder for ease of access. You cannot save props back to this library, you must save back to the props folder libary. This is a Poser limitation. - Emergency Light: Simple wall or ceiling mounted ligth with ambient/emmissive material zones that will glow in dimly lit scene. - Equipment 1: A simple vent type prop for air circulation. Has size/shape morphs. - Equipment 2: Tall rack like computer equipment. Has size/shape morphs. - Equipment 3: Wall mounted computerized equipment. Has size/shape morphs. - Equipment 4: Wall mounted circuit breaker style piece of computer equipment. (Might be memory intensive or slow down your scene) - Equipment 5: Wall mounted emergency shut-off control panel. - Kill Switch: This is one of those self destruct type buttons. The box has 3 morphs for different open lid positions. - Microphone: Simple microphone with some bending morphs. Place where desired. These props are all used in the Obs Room Combo room, pre-parented to appropriate room parts. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pose Libraries: /Davo/Chamber 5: Contains default and window options poses. ----------------------------------- Chair Poses subfolder ----------------------------------- M4 and V4 chair poses are provided for the chair and matching poses for M4/V4. Parent M4 or V4 to the chairs "seat" body part, then apply the poses for the chair and M4/V4. The chair will swivel around and face the window wall of the observation room and place the chair at the center console of the table. You can manually move the base of the chair to a new position if desired. ----------------------------------- Screen Options subfolder ----------------------------------- You can use these material pose files to change the mood in your observation room from default to emergency alert.
