Thank you for puchasing the V4 "TIGHT KIT-II" from Davo's store. To extract the contents of this zip file, use a zip extraction program such as winzip. -Make sure the "use folder names" option is checked. -Extract to the location of your poser*.exe file For example, if you have Curious Lab's Poser 5, you would extract the files to: C:/program files/curious labs/Poser 5 -Do not include the folder "runtime" in your extraction path, this is already included in the zip files path location Once installed the library content will be installed to the following folders: FIGURES LIBRARY: V4 TIGHT KIT-II PROPS LIBRARY: V4 TIGHT KIT-II (indentation magnets) and subfolder: STRAP CUFFS (smart prop strap cuffs) POSE LIBRARY: V4 TIGHT KIT-II with subfolders: Basic Poses, Belt Poses, Restraining Bar and Spreader Bar SMART PROP STRAP CUFFS in the PROPS LIBRARY: All the strap cuffs in this package are smart props, meaning they will snap onto your V4 character automatically in the correct location and automatically be parented. There is a 2 part system to using the smart prop strap cuffs: Part 1 ( this part is optional ) - The main props in the V4 Tight Kit-II are the magnets. One of the library magnet icons will install all the arm and leg magnets at once. The neck and abdoment magnets are both installed separately. The magnets are used to "depress" the skin where the strap cuffs will be placed, this gives the look and feel of the ropes and bands "biting" the skin. Install the magnets for the cuffs you want to use. Consider how you want to bind up your character, where do you want the cuffs and how many? Once you have that figured out, install the magnets you will use. Arm magnets: There are 3 per arm Leg Magnets: There are 3 per leg Abdomen Magnet Neck Magnet Once you have the magnets installed, "MEMORIZE" your figure with the figures/memorize/figure pull down menu command. You should do this to memorize the magnets "depressions". Make sure your figure does not have an expression on her face when memorizing or it will be memorized. Part 2 - Once you have the magnets installed ( optional ) and your figure memorized, you can install the strap cuffs. The subfolder "Strap Cuffs" has the smart prop strap cuffs. Each cuff is installed individually, simply click the icon and add it to your scene, it will snap to your figure automatically. If you want to add a coil loop or belt buckle prop, simply click the icon, the coil loop/buckle will show up between your characters feet. Move the item to the desired location, size, morph, rotate and parent it to the body. I would suggest if you put the item on any of the arm bands, you should parent it to the chest, if you put the item on a leg band, parent it to the hip. The coil loops and belt buckle props have some morphs for adding some indentations or bending for looks, try them out. There are some starter poses in the pose library: V4 TIGHT KIT-II that can be combined with the Restraining Bar and Spreader Bar. These poses are based on the unmorphed V4.2++ figure, these poses will get you close, you may have to do some additional tweaking of your pose. You can simply mirror poses that are symmetrical by using the figure/symmetry/mirror command in the Figure pull down menu to mirror your figures pose from one side to the other. Posing your figure will cause some of the cuffs to look a little crooked or they might show some poke-throughs, you can teak the rotation and xyz scale of each cuff to get a good look. Adjustments will have to be made, but luckily you can mirror the cuff adjustements from one side of you character to the other with the symmetry mirror command, just click on the body part the cuff is parented to, then use the mirror command, the cuffs attributes will be mirrored as well. FIGURES LIBRARY: The figures library contains the easypose belts, restraining bar, spreader bar, chain frame, chain base, Hook sets figures and Link sets figures. These figures are used in conjunction with the smart prop strap cuffs. Belts Long, Medium and Short: These are flexible, multi-segmented belts that can be used to bind up your characters. The middle segment of the belts is the figure base, move this segment to move the whole belt. Easypose bending technology is built into the belt for easy bending and manipulation. The segments of the belt that are displayed with the wire mesh display are the controlling nodes/segments for the next 10 segments in the belt. It is easier to control only 10 segments at a time rather than try to manipulate an entire string of segments. The buckle and buckle arm on the belt can be moved in all directions and placed where desired. If you wish to be able to mirror one side of the belt's posing to the other side, you must pose each segment manually. Easypose DOES NOT mirror poses since no xyz rotation or movement dials are used. If you wish to save a pose of the belt, you must also pose each segment manually, Easypose does not save in pose files. There are 4 pose sets for the belts in the pose library. The library will tell you how many belts of each kind is needed for each pose. Pose V4 first, then appy the belts and poses. Parent the belts to your figure when done. Chain Base: This is floor mounted pad with a posable chain. It can be used to chain the spreader bar to the floor or hook into a strap cuff. Chain Frame: This is a posable frame with a chain hanging from the cross bar. There are width, height and cross bar height morphs for the frame. If you adjust the frame, you will have to move the chains first segment to a new position to match the frame. Restraining Bar: This is an adjustable bar with rings at both ends and sides to hook into the strap cuffs. There is a length morph to adjust the length of the bar. The ring bases can be moved along the length of the bar. There are a couple pose files and matching v4 poses in the library. Spreader Bar: Like the Restraining Bar only without the side rings. There is a length morph. The rings at the middle of the bar can be adjusted/rotated. Link and Hook sets: The link and hook sets are for hooking/linking the smart prop strap cuffs together. The first/top link/hook is the moving base, you should place this where desired, then rotate the next ring and link toward the next cuff it should be hooked into. The double sets have a null base (shown in poser as a circular ball in wire frame outline, it will not render) which is used to move both sides of the hooks/links together. You can pose the right or left side link/hook then mirror the pose to the other side with the symmetrical mirroring command. You must parent the null base to your character for the hooks/links to move with your character. These are not like smart props. The single sets are stand alone figures and each must be parented to your character after posing. POSE LIBRARY: The pose library has an assortement of belt, restraining bars, spreader bar poses that you can use. Each folder contains a list of needed items for that particular pose. I hope you enjoy this package as much as I do. It's been on some of my customers wishlist for a long time. Good companion products for the package are: V4 "Tight Kit" V4 Gags package V4 Cloth Gags Package V4 "Training Kit". All these items are in my Davo store at renderotica.com Have fun! Davo / Davorama
