Thank you for puchasing The Terminus Remix package from Davo's store. This Terminus Remix set is the original Terminus package with fully remapped UV surfaces, externalized geometries on all items making them posable and adjustable. 2 new texture themes with material pose files are provided as well as all items fitting M4 and V4! This is not an upgrade package, no previous purchased need to be made. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Requires Poser 5+. Has not been tested in DazStudio, but should work in DS with minor adjustments to texture material zones. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To install, open the zip file and extract the contents (make sure "use folders" option is checked) to the location of your poser.exe file. For example: c:/program files/curious labs/poser 5 Do not include "runtime" in the extraction path, it is already specified in the zip file. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The files will be extracted to: Figures/Characters library: TERMINUS-1 / (cell, stage, pit, crane, hanging post, hook set) TERMINUS-1 / FOR M4 (restraining devices fit for M4) TERMINUS-1 / FOR V4 (restraining devices fit for V4) Pose library: TERMINUS-1 / FOR M4 (restraining devices poses for M4 and devices) TERMINUS-1 / FOR V4 (restraining devices poses for V4 and devices) TERMINUS-1 / MATS PITTED (material pose files for pitted/scratched glossy surface) TERMINUS-1 / MATS RUSTY (material pose files for rusted glossy surface) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL NOTEs: 1.) All items in this package have raytrace reflection properties built into the material zones. This will permit a real reflection to be shown on all the elements in the package. You must enable ray tracing in the render settings for the raytracing to work. You do not have to use ray tracing if you don't want to. 2.) All items (except the cell and pit) have 2 texture themes. One is a glossy rusted surface with raytrace reflections and the other a pitted and scratched glossy surface with grey tones, (also with raytrace properties) To apply the materials, go the the pose library and chose Rusty or Pitted library. Click on the item to change in your scene, then click the library icon to apply the new texture. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FIGURES: Cell & Pit: (comes in shadow and now shadow casting versions) The cell has movable walls, columns, ceiling, parapet and doors. The grate over the pit has a morphing open and close feature. The doors open and close. The pit is an add-on and parented to the floor. The non-shadow casting version has shadow casting "turned off" on all the elements so light can pass through them. If you are not experienced with lighting, this might be the version you wish to use. Pit: This pit has a surface with spikes that can move up and down. The circular wall is split into 2 parts so you can render a cut-away scene that shows the action in the pit. There is a pit already parented to the cell. Chopper: The chopper is a simple guillotine style figure with sliding blade. This figure can be used in conjunction with the "Iron Stocks" figure from the M4 and V4 restraining devices folder. Crane: The crane is a posable figure with a hook. 3 armatures can bend as well as the hook. Hanging Post: This is a post that you can attach a rope, chain or the supplied hookset figure. There are 2 morphs that will adjust the overall height or the overhanging arm shape. You should use these morphs if you wish to place the hanging post on the stage to be used inside the cell. There is a connector at the tip of the overhanging arm. Move this up and down manually if you use the morphs on the post. Hook Set: This is a large suspension hook to hold large items. The hook can bend and twist independant of the base. There is an easypose cable/hose attached to the base. There are bending control nodes on the first and every 20th segments of the cable. The posing starts with segment 1, which is next to the base. This allows you to place the base where you need it, then pose the cable/hose back toward to point where it attaches to another object. Stage: The stage has a posable drop/trap platform. This can be used for dangling people over the pit or for hanging style action. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FOR M4 and V4 subfolders (these restraining devices are special fit to M4 and V4, choose the correct folder before inserting): Arm Spreader: a simple spreader bar with adjustable cuffs. Can be suspended from the crane or hanging post. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Back Cuffs: Behind the back double cuff restrainer with adjustable cuffs. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Bend Over: A figure that bends your character over in a compromising position. Fully posable, has a hip cuff that opens and closes plus a posable lock pad. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Bent Bars: A fully posable restraining device that bends your character in a painful arch. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Doggy Kneeler: This humiliating restrainer puts your character down on all 4's "doggy style". Cuffs are adjustable Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Iron Casket: A cool "iron maiden" (without spikes) style vertical container with 12 vent holes, posable doors and posable lock pad. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Iron Stocks: This is a metal style stocks figure with posable top armature. This can be used in conjunction with the Chopper figure. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Iron Tree: This is a posable tree that holds your characters in a vertical spread eagle pose. The cuffs and cuff links are posable. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Kneeler: This figure has posable cuffs and can be bolted to the floor or a wall. This keeps your character in a kneeling position. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. StandUp: This is a favorite restrainer in the Terminus package for ages. This is a fully posable restrainer that keeps your victim in a tight, uncomfortable standing position. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Upside Down: This is a semi-posable restrainer that holds your victim dangling upside down. It can be attached to a hook or rope or suspended over the pit. Pose files for M4 and V4 in pose library. Whipping Post: Another favorite device. This is a fully posable whipping post with arm and leg cuffs. There is a non-rending sphere between the posts that is used to move the post around. This allows each post to be able to be moved side to side.
