If you have applied morphs or altered body shapes or proportions, you must manually adjust the character and device positions if connection points are not touching. To install, open the zip file and extract the contents (make sure "use folders" option is checked to the location of your Daz Studio library) For example: C:\Users\"Your windows computer name"\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library or C:\Users\"Your windows computer name"\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\Content typical Daz Studio default location prior to 4.7 or C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library typical Daz Studio default location after to 4.7 version You may also install to a different location of your choice if you wish to use an external Library location for example: C:\"your folder name"\ be sure to drag and drop the data, props, runtime and any other folder in the zip file into your custom folder name, then in daz studio, add that folder by right clicking on the "DAZ Studio Formats" (at the top of the content library tab) and browse to your custom made folder. Again, see the UNZIPPING TUTORIAL PDF! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Props and Figures will be extracted to the following folders: Figures/Davo/Devious Devices/Device 16/: Contains the Devious Device 15 figure, smart prop collar bolt Poses/Davo/Devious Devices/Device 16/ V4: Contains poses for the device and V4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Figure Library Descriptions: - Device 16: This modern all metal apparatus resembles a new age stock. The device has many size/shaping morphs to adjust width and length of parts so you can create custom fits and poses for your characters. There are repositionable chains and mounts for the hands and feet, a working collar/yoke piece that opens and closes and yoke bar that moves up and down. Read First icon in the device and pose folders have useful information pertaining to folder content, please read them. (note, the collar bolt is already attached to the device 16 figure) - Collar Bolt: This is an add-on bolt that can be used to lock the collar/yoke shut. It self parents to the yokebar and has a morph to slide the nut back and forth along the bolt. Select the Device 16 figure then add the bolt, it will self position and parent in the correct location. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Props Libraries: Basic Scifi Cuffs Library: V4, M4 (G8F and G8M in the DS version) These libraries contain smart prop cuffs to use in conjunction with the Bondage Furnishings Packs and other various Davo products. These smart props will automatically position and parent to your characters wrists, ankles and neck. To apply the cuffs, click on your character in your preview window, then click to add each cuff, they will position automatically. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL NOTE FOR POSING: Posing for V4 is based on the standard sized and proportioned base character from Daz3d. If you have a heavily morphed or resized/shaped custom character, you will possibly need to make some manual adjustments on your character and the product equipment for positioning.
