That’s usually because the metadata (the info that tells Daz where and how to show it) is missing or didn’t install properly. How to Re-Import Metadata in Daz Studio (So your item shows up in Smart Content) Step 1: Open the Smart Content Pane Look on the right side of your screen for a panel called Smart Content If you don’t see it, go to: Window → Panes (Tabs) → Smart Content Step 2: Click the Hamburger Icon In the top-right corner of the Smart Content pane, you'll see a small icon with three horizontal lines – this is called the hamburger icon Click it to open a menu Step 3: Choose “Content DB Maintenance” In that menu, click on Content DB Maintenance... (This stands for Content Database Maintenance) Step 4: Re-Import Metadata A window will pop up Check the box for Re-Import Metadata Click Accept Step 5: Select Your Product(s) Another window will appear showing all installed products You can: Find and check just the item you’re trying to fix Or click Select All if you’re not sure Click Accept That’s it!
