Q: Is it really easy to use? A: Yes - and not only if you compare this project with my older products involving liquids. If you can dress your model in clothes and give the clothes a different color (material), then you can also use this project without any problems. Q: No dForce, decals or other tricky stuff? A: Nope! This project is based solely on a partial shell and "normal" materials (OK, the creation of the maps was not quite normal for me - but that doesn't matter to you). Q: Can I really use the project for male models? A: Yes. Since I use a generating script instead of a prefabricated shell in this project, all known problems with prefabricats (including the gender dependency) are eliminated. Q: What does the "LL" mean? A: Because of the way I created the texture maps (the "liquids") and the fact that DAZ allows you to change the position of these maps, it looks like the textures "live" when you move them. That's why I call this series LL: "Living Liquids". Q: Only 3 styles? Seems little! A: It's not - I promise! As you can move/mirror/flip the materials (see below), you can render a large number of scenes with just one style. And don't forget: you can use different material presets ... and you can even combine 2 or more styles. Q: Can I combine this project with other "LL" projects? A: For sure! With "LL Face" there may be problems because the shell is overlaid by other shells - but this is very easy to fix (see below). Q: Why can't I see the materials sometimes? A: The shell script was tricked (by deleting a shell). Then select the last generated LL object, switch to the "Parameters" pane -> Mesh Offset and increase the Offset Distance option in 0.01 steps until the material becomes visible. You can also use this method to customize "LL Face" if you want to combine different LL projects. Q: How can I combine 2 or more shots? A: Simply create an other "LL Body" object and assign an other (or maybe even the same) "Shot" to it. Q: How can I move, scale, etc. the materials? Moving: Simply select the LL Leg object, switch to the "Surfaces" pane and scroll down the list of options until you see "Horizontal offset" or "Vertical offset". If you change the values (slightly!), you will see how the liquids change their position on the body of the model. That's it :) Tipp: Select the desired material / preset before (!) you move it - otherwise (if you have found a great position and then change the material) the position will be reset. Scaling / Flipping: Select the LL Leg object, switch to the "Surfaces" pane and scroll down the list of options until you see "Horizontal Tiles" or "Vertical Tiles". If you change this values to -1.00, the materials will be mirrored or flipped. You can also use the "Tiles" options to scale the materials. Smaller values enlarge the material, larger values reduce it ... and can also lead to doubling, as the changed value is a "Tile" option. Q: Are the promos "shopped"? A: Nope - no post-processing for the images (that would be really unfair). I only used PhotoShop for scaling and cropping.
