If you have applied morphs or altered body shapes or proportions, you must manually adjust the character and device positions if connection points are not touching. To install, open the zip file and extract the contents (make sure "use folders" option is checked to the location of your Daz Studio library) For example: C:\Users\"Your windows computer name"\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library or C:\Users\"Your windows computer name"\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\Content typical Daz Studio default location prior to 4.7 or C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library typical Daz Studio default location after to 4.7 version You may also install to a different location of your choice if you wish to use an external Library location for example: C:\"your folder name"\ be sure to drag and drop the data, props, runtime and any other folder in the zip file into your custom folder name, then in daz studio, add that folder by right clicking on the "DAZ Studio Formats" (at the top of the content library tab) and browse to your custom made folder. The top and bottom restraint armatures have a neck bar with yoke type collar, a spreader bar for restraining the opposite characters feet and an arm bar with arm spreader bar. There is a non-rendering 'base' body part centered between the 2 restraint systems, this 'base' is what you would use to move both the characters and the restraints around at the same time. The 'base' parents to the Device Holders 'axle' body part when using the combo set (holder and device 13 together) so the armature on the axle and the 2 device restraints and characters will all rotate together. Poses for the combo set and a pose for the device without the holder is provided. Poses for G8F and G9F are provided in the pose subfolder, please click on the READ FIRST icon for notes on body bands, parenting and posing. - Device Holder: This is a stand that can hold the Device 13 figure so both characters are suspended off the floor, allowing them to be spun around. The 'axle' body part is what you would rotate the right and left armatures and also the body part you would parent the 'base' of the Device 13 figure to combine them. The right and left armature have a hook at each end, hooks have length morph, arms have length morph for adjustments. These hooks are meant to connect to the basic scifi cuffs on your characters feet. Poses for the combo set and a pose for the device without the holder is provided. There are subfolders for V4 and M4 These folders contain smart prop cuffs to use in conjunction with the most of Davo's packages. These smart props will automatically position and parent to your characters. To apply the cuffs, click on your character in your preview window, then click to add each cuff, they will position automatically. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL NOTE FOR POSING: Posing for V4 is based on the standard sized and proportioned base character from Daz3d. If you have a heavily morphed or resized/shaped custom character, you will possibly need to make some manual adjustments on your character and the product equipment for positioning.
