If you have applied morphs or altered body shapes or proportions, you must manually adjust the character and device positions if connection points are not touching. To install, open the zip file and extract the contents (make sure "use folders" option is checked to the location of your Daz Studio library) For example: C:\Users\"Your windows computer name"\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library or C:\Users\"Your windows computer name"\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\Content typical Daz Studio default location prior to 4.7 or C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library typical Daz Studio default location after to 4.7 version You may also install to a different location of your choice if you wish to use an external Library location for example: C:\"your folder name"\ be sure to drag and drop the data, props, runtime and any other folder in the zip file into your custom folder name, then in daz studio, add that folder by right clicking on the "DAZ Studio Formats" (at the top of the content library tab) and browse to your custom made folder. Again, see the UNZIPPING TUTORIAL PDF! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Props and Figures will be extracted to the following folders: Figures/Davo/Devious Devices/Device 14/: Contains the Devious Device 13 figure Poses/Davo/Devious Devices/Device 14/ V4: Contains poses for the device and V4 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Figure Library Descriptions: - Device 14: This restraint device will keep your character in a legs bent back and behind the head pose, exposing the crotch area of your character. Most parts are size and shape adjustable with morphs, this allows custom fitting of custom characters. This device pose also incorporates the Cuffs Basic Bands figure (located in the Cuffs Basic Bands folder, not the Device 14 folders). Poses for V4 are provided in the poses library, please click on the READ FIRST icon for notes on body bands, parenting and posing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Basic Bands: Figures/Davo/Basic Bands folder: These body bands are a wearable preset (conforming figure in poser) that you apply to your character like clothing. The bands are on the upper arms, wrists, thighs and legs. These will deform with your characters body shapes to a certain degree. Insert the bands into your scene then conform them to your V4 character. There is a folder for visibility options that will show or hide sets of the bands on the arms and legs. Be sure you select the body bands and not your V4 figure when using the visibility options. Poses and crossties are in the poses library. Poses/Davo/Basic Bands: Crosstie folders: These folders have some smart prop crossties for the arms and legs. The arms and legs options will partially pose only the arms or legs. The difference between option A and B is that the A option has the cross ties slightly on the outside of cuffs for better visibility. The B options has them more centrally between the cuffs. The crosstie prop has size and shape morphs for custom looks. To use the crossties, select your V4 character and choose the crosstie options of choice. You can custom your character then move the crossties into desired position. The arms crossties are parented to your characters 'chest' body part and the legs crossties are parented to your characters 'hip' body part. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL NOTE FOR POSING: Posing for V4 is based on the standard sized and proportioned base character from Daz3d. If you have a heavily morphed or resized/shaped custom character, you will possibly need to make some manual adjustments on your character and the product equipment for positioning.
