If you have applied morphs or altered body shapes or proportions, you must manually adjust the character and device positions if connection points are not touching. If you do have to alter the poses, you can do this to one side of the device and one side of your character then use the symmetry command to mirror the result to the other side. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL NOTE 2: Firefly is the render engine of choice. This package materials are geared toward the Firefly Render engine. Superfly will require manual material adjustments. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Poser System Requirements: - PC and Mac compatible - Should be backwards compatible to poser 9 or poser pro 2012 - All files in .obj, .cr2, .png and .jpg format. - Poses included for V4.2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To install, open the zip file and extract the contents (make sure "use folders" option is checked to the location of your poser.exe file. For example: c:/program files/curious labs/poser 5 or c:/program files/Smith Micro/Poser 8 You may also install to a different location of your choice if you wish to use an external runtime location. Do not include "runtime" in the extraction path, it is already specified in the zip file. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The props, figures and poses files will be extracted to the Following Libraries Figures/Davo/Bondage Furnishings/The Silo: contains The silo and pre-assembled silo sets. Figures/Davo/Basic Bands: Contains Basic bands for V4 plus subfolders for CrossTie props and Visibility options. Poses/Davo/Bondage Furnishings/The Silo/V4 - Contains posers for V4 and matching poses for the Silo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Package Features: - Silo: This is a generic ceiling figure with a silo tube centered in the ceiling. There are an additional 8 cutouts in the ceiling for the addition of more Silo Xtra figures. The 'cage' of the silo moves up and down and has a repositionable neck and hip straps. There are repositionable armatures on the right and left side of the cage platform, these have length morphs and are meant to pose into the straps and your V4 characters basic body bands, which are also included. You can move the armatures up and down with the neckB, hipB, shoulderB, wristB, thighB and ankleB body parts, then adjust the angle of arms and use the length morphs of needed. Pose files for G8F and G9F and matching poses for the cage is supplied. See READ FIRST icons in each library for important notes pertaining to folder contents. - Silo Xtra: This is an additional Silo tube with cage that can be added to the Silo figure if you move the ceiling cut outs out of the way or hide them. There is pre-assembled ceiling with additional Silo tube already provided. - Silo 3 and 9 Sets: This is a Silo figure with Silo Xtra figures already positioned and parented for your convenience. - Large Ceiling Expansion: This is a larger ceiling prop that expands further out for larger rooms. It is a smart prop and will automatically position over the baseCeiling body part of the Silo figure. After importing it, turn of the visibility of the baseCeiling body part of the silo figure. - READ FIRST icon: This icon will pop up notes pertaining to the folder contents when double clicked. Please read these icons to answer most questions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Basic Bands: Figures/Davo/Basic Bands folder: These body bands are a wearable preset (conforming figure in poser) that you apply to your character like clothing. The bands are on the upper arms, wrists, thighs and legs. These will deform with your characters body shapes to a certain degree. Insert the bands into your scene then conform them to your V4 character. There is a folder for visibility options that will show or hide sets of the bands on the arms and legs. Be sure you select the body bands and not your V4 figure when using the visibility options. Poses and crossties are in the poses library. Poses/Davo/Basic Bands: Crosstie folders: These folders have some smart prop crossties for the arms and legs. The arms and legs options will partially pose only the arms or legs. The difference between option A and B is that the A option has the cross ties slightly on the outside of cuffs for better visibility. The B options has them more centrally between the cuffs. The crosstie prop has size and shape morphs for custom looks. To use the crossties, select your V4 character and choose the crosstie options of choice. You can custom your character then move the crossties into desired position. The arms crossties are parented to your characters 'chest' body part and the legs crossties are parented to your characters 'hip' body part. ---------- Pose Libraries: ----------- Note: Posing for V4 figures is based on the STANDARD, NON-MORPHED OR ALTERED figures. This "read first" icon will bring up a list of notes pertaining to what part of the device you should parent your character to and what cuffs are needed if applicable. Note: The poses for V4 in the Silo require the Basic Bands figure to be conformed to V4, please read the READ FIRST ICONS. Parent V4 figures to the silos "cage" body part before applying the poses. The silo pose does not affect the height of the cage, there is a couple poses for the silo that will move it down and up.
