SC8R MicroMini for Genesis Female 8 / 8.1 Created by Pushee-Ri This is not a merchant resource ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) DECISION Before you start a scene, please decide whether you want to show the front or the back of your model and select the appropriate Wearable. 2) MATERIAL PRESETS To assign a material preset to the SC8 object, please follow these steps: Expand the model in the "Szene" pane and locate the "SC8 [object]". Expand this object, too and select the "SC8 .... Stains". Now you can assign a material preset as usual. 3) MOVING, SCALING and FLIPPING STAINS With the "SC8 .... Stains" object selected, switch to the "Surfaces" pane and scroll down the list of options until you see "Horizontal Tiles" / "Vertical Tiles". All of the following transformations can be used in "Texture Shaded Preview" mode. * MOVING To move the stains on the "SC8 ... Stains" object, please use the "Horizontal Offset" and "Vertical Offset" options. Change the values in small increments and watch how the stains move. * SCALING Use the options "Horizontal Tiles" and/or "Vertical Tiles". Negative values enlarge the stains; positive values reduce it. The stains will be repositioned during scaling. So use the options mentioned above (MOVE) as needed to keep the stains in their intended positions. * FLIPPING Use the options "Horizontal Tiles" and (!) "Vertical Tiles" and set both of them to -1. You can use the MOVE options to repostion the stains after that. * DOUBLE Starting at a value of about 5.0, the stains begin to appear double. ("Horizontal Tiles" and/or "Vertical Tiles") HINTS Try hiding the base object so that only the stains are visible :) The distance between the model and the stains is greater than in my regular LL projects... but with the right lighting, you can achieve some nice results. The stains are best repositioned in Texture Shade preview mode. Enjoy :)
