Hey peeps,
Its been a long time since I posted anything here. To cut a long story short I basically had to re-invent myself this year. I let myself get completely carried away and consumed by certain projects that ultimately didn't had nothing to do with why I got into CGI in the first place. I wasn't enjoying it at all. The temptation of wanting to help and be the hero got the better of me and led me entirely off course, away from what I love the most: storytelling.
After PE was released, simply resuming comic production was not simple at all. My runtimes were a mess of hundreds of different figures, with clothing that didn't always fit them properly, half-assed textures and materials, and software that was taking on water faster than the Titanic. I needed to make a plan and fast. I was very tempted to switch to DAZ Studio, but that would just take me longer to learn DS to the same level as I use Poser (like mad scientist level). Strictly speaking Poser is still working for me, but I felt like Poser wasn't growing with me. Thankfully, Poser's scripting interface saved the day and I spent a month writing a massive script interface that lets me do pretty sick things in Poser, some mentioned here in this post on DA, (also making a little comic in a matter of days). After I rebuilt and redesigned everything, I could resume full time production of the Disco Dragon 3 (and other comics) two months ago.
Now I had hoped to release the DD3 before Christmas as a nice way to conclude these last few years, and as a nice way to start fresh in 2019. But the DD3 is a BIG production with very special things happening in it (you'll see). it also holds special meaning since the death of Andrew Clarke (the former owner of Renderotica and CGbytes), who partook in the concept and story of the Disco Dragon. I want to get this comic right, and so I didn't want to rush things.
But I thought hm, I WANT to release a comic this year, even if its something small, I want to show my fans that I mean business again. I wanted something like my first comic ever, Weaponshandling, a small comic to kick things off again. So within 3 days, starting on the 22nd, I dug up an old but simple fun script, and went at it full force. I committed 5 computers and worked non-stop, with a bit of sleep. I am proud to present:
The Shagging Before Christmas!!!
Its a little late to the party, but I'm happy I did it. I'm back where I want to be, making comics. I am super happy again.

For the record, I am not abandoning my other projects, but I spent years of my life making them, and completely neglecting my comic fans that made me who I am today. I wanted to focus on getting that back on track, and I'll see when I can get other things done. The futagirls for PE are still in the making, but I won't lie, Poser products are not super popular these days, spending time on all that is a massive gamble and is bordering on lunacy considering that these figures are sumper complex to make... and since I don't use DS, making stuff for DS is me just asking for trouble. I'll figure something out at some point, but comics come first.

Hey Glad to see you back, I had a good look at that interface on DA, geesh is that poser really. You have done some impressive things in the past but hell dude if you have done that then I am super impressed. I'm here for the donuts.....

Wow. I was just thinking 2 days ago that I hadn't seen Ero on here in quite a while. And the very next day, BOOM, there you are! I was reminiscing of the old days before you were a superstar, when you, me, and Mattwassel would be replying back and forth to each other all the time. Anyway, good to see you back here again.

hey! I'll never forget those times and I'm hoping to be back there soon. I've been hiding from Rotica because of my lack of comics, I wanna turn that around now. And BTW, don't forget, you're the first ever fan to 'have sex' with Lali!! That's a historical fact. Good to see you're still around man. ______
