I had this same issue with G3 figures when I applied Anagenesis' N.G.S 2 shader. On the first page of this thread 3feetwolf has a script which addresses this issue. Use this script to apply the gens to figures which have the N.G.S. Shader applied.

I am having a problem that I need help with.  I already had an older version of the New Genitalia for Victoria 7 that I was using for multiple models, including the generic G3F but it would not work for Arabella 7. I bought the update for Arabella 7 and installed it and to my dismay it does not work.  I get an error to see the log file which gives some cryptic messages which I have no idea what to do with:

2017-03-28 20:06:37.674 Loaded Morph Deltas in 0 min 0.0 sec.

Not only that, when I try to apply the updated Gens to the generic G3F, I get an error message saying I need to install the upgrade package for this UV (Base Female).  Recall that this worked fine before I installed the update for Arabella 7.  So now, not only does this not work for Arabella 7, it no longer works for any of the models it used to work for.  I am hope 3feetwolf can help me because I am not very happy right now.

I searched this thread, but could not find this issue:

This is generally a really superior product, but I noticed that on Daz' Cayenne, which uses the G3F Base Female UV, as does NewGens, the vertical seams between the gens graft and the character are somewhat visible down her buttocks. The textures and shaders appear identical/correct, but it appears that the vertical seams on the glutes are not as "flush" as they ideally should be. Postwork is one solution, but I'm wondering if anyone has another fix.

Thank you!

Hello,

According to your description, I initially guess that you can download the latest script file from the first page of this thread to solve the problem.
But if the problem persists, please let me know. I will continue to find a solution.

Hello :)
This problem usually means that your character uses displacement map, which will conflict with the displacement maps of new gens.
So a seam appears at the border between new gens and body.
So If you want to render the whole body, you need to remove the displacement map of new gens.
If you want to render close-up of the new gens, please remove the displacement maps of character torso and thigh.

Unfortunately this did not work for me.  After running the update script and attempting to install NGV7 for either Arabella 7 or any other figure I am getting errors.  Here is the log file for trying to apply NGV7 to Arabella 7:

Fortunately I have an older version of NGV7 that I can revert to until this issue is fixed, but I would really like to use it on Arabella 7, for which I paid money.  Kudos on making such a great looking gens that everyone can use, but I just need to find a way to make this work.  I am willing to work with you to resolve this issue.

Sure, I will try to solve this problem for you :)

Maybe I did not make it clear. In my last post, my suggestion is that you download the latest 'New Genitalia For Victoria 7.dsa' and overwrite the old script you are currently using, and then try using this new script to apply the new gens to Arabella.

But according to the log file, you are still using the script updated by 'Upgrade The Script Of New Gens.dsa'. So please try downloading the latest 'New Genitalia For Victoria 7.dsa' again and use it to load new gens. Before doing this, please send me([email protected]) the current script you are using. I will study its code to see if I can find out some clues.

Anyhoo: The error you're getting typically means the script isn't finding a specific morph, CTRLGensC-V7. This morph should be located in "data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 3\Female\Morphs\3feetwolf\NGV7".

I would suggest downloading the latest version of NGV7: '3feetwolf_NewGenitaliaForVictoria7UPDATE'. If you have DS 4.9.3.166, you should download '3feetwolf_NewGenitaliaForVictoria7_DS4-9-3-166'.

Delete your current NGV7 installation, then install the update(s). If that works, then install the Arabella update (and, if necessary, the Arabella 4.9.3.166 update)

Well, I checked, and the character does not use a displacement map. I removed the newgens displacement map, but even before rendering, I can see a sort of slight vertical "valley" in the mesh on each of her buttocks where her buttocks join the newgens. So far, Cayenne is the only base female character I have encountered this issue with. All the other seams (thighs, for instance) are fine.

Sorry for the mistake :(
Could you post some picture to show the problem in detail(Including the render results before and after you delete the displacement map of new gens)?

Yes, they are free downloads. As nightwolf said, you can find them in your download page. After installing these updates(please remove the old version of NGV7 first), you can get a NGV7 compatible with daz studio 4.9.3.166.

I am happy to say that after following the instructions provided, I am now able to make NGV7 work with both the other models and Arabella 7.  Thanks for all your help.

Since I have you on the line, I wanted to run a question by you.  When I apply NGV7 to a G3F-based model, the Gens appears at the very bottom, between the legs, and if the G3F model is viewed from the front, it is basically invisible. By that I mean it looks like there is no gens at all unless you are looking up between the legs.  I would like the Gens to be visible from the front.  You have morphs to move the Gens left and right but not up.  IMO a morph to move the Gens up so it is visible when the female is viewed from the front is very important.  What can you suggest as a way to get the Gens to be visible from the front?

So far, Cayenne is the only base female character I have encountered this issue with. All the other seams (thighs, for instance) are fine.

Sorry for the mistake :(
Could you post some picture to show the problem in detail(Including the render results before and after you delete the displacement map of new gens)?

Here are links to two images. The first is before the render, in the DAZ workspace, and the second is after rendering. The issue seems to be related to the mesh, as the presence of absence of displacement maps has no effect, and the problem can be seen even before rendering. There are no such seams on the thighs or other adjoining areas.

truthordare: this is a problem with HD characters. For some reason, the higher subdivision settings cause those specific seams to stand out. As far as I know, no solution has been found to correct it, other than lowering the subdivision settings to 1.

dullspanky: You only need the 4-9-3-166 version.

That appears to work pre-render, but the seams still render even when lowered to 0.

Hi, I will make a new morph to achieve this purpose.
