I was poking around the Daz forums, and I noticed the "Visual Novel" thread.
So wtf is a visual novel? It's basically a story with pictures. The story can be like a choose-your-own-adventure thing, with choices and whatnot, or it can be just a straight-up story.
The point of this is: it's another way to tell a story. Comic books are one method, but I wanted something that would work on my more modest machine. Conceptualizing images for a Visual Novel is different than setting up an entire scene that is a standalone panel for a comic book. I can get away with a simple render of a standalone figure for a Visual Novel because that's the expected input!
So... how to do this kind of thing? There's free software called Ren'Py that can do this. Why Ren'Py? Free is good, and the paid software has kind of mixed reviews from the Daz crowd. (Looking at the Tyrano builder thing and the Visual Novel Builder on Steam.)
Here's the link to Ren'Py:

Anyway, there's plenty of tutorials and whatnot on YouTube. Maybe we'll see some of these in the Store here before too long? (The software is Free for Commercial Use, so there you go.)
I had an idea, so with my Ryzen machine tied up with "Pink Room", I'll be working on this "Fallen Princess" idea on my other laptop.
EDIT:
Hey! I had no idea Winter Wolves did their stuff in Ren'Py... but their stuff is on the Ren'Py games list!
