                            ABOUT THE SET
======================================================================

This set of liquid shaders was designed to supplement my Fluid Sim packs, which originally did not include DAZ shaders. I have since learned how to create these, and so I am now providing them free of charge so that DAZ users can get the best out of that program when using my sims.

You can find the shaders in your DAZ library under Shader Presets/Iray/AcePyx/Liquids. Most of the shaders are volumetric. That means that they have volume. That in turn means that they are EXTREMELY sensitive to lighting, the thickness of the model they are applied to, and the colour of any backgrounds. They will look completely different on a dark surface to a light one, and will change completely when lit from behind. If they appear too dark, place a light in front to reveal their diffuse/reflective colour. If they are not transparent enough, place a light behind so that it shines through.
The two ocean textures are designed to be applied to planes (flat surfaces). They both have displacement added and look best with light hitting them from an angle above, say 30 degrees.

To apply any of the shaders, simply select the model that you wish to colour, open the DAZ Surfaces tab, select the sub-part of the model that you wish to apply the shader to, then double click the shader icon in the library.
